I'm Marlan, Reiki
Master/Teacher. I began my training and certification with The Los Angeles
Reiki Center in 1984 with Joyce J. Morris, the 44th Reiki Master in the true
Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. Throughout my practice, I have witnessed the amazing
and humbling effects of Energy Healing ashes, calms and relieves pain at all
levels, and I love sharing it with anyone who gives permission.
I am also a filmmaker, novelist, screenwriter, playwright, journalist, publicist with an eclectic background in many fields including publicity, marketing, and law. My heritage is Russian American. I find the variety of my interests enables me to connect with people who come to the studio for assistance.
What
is Reiki?
Reiki is a very specific form of
energy healing in which hands are placed just off the body or lightly touching
the body.
Dr. Mikao Usui, brought the Reiki
method of healing into human awareness in 1922. He began teaching others after a serious earthquake hit Japan
and he felt urged to spread his knowledge.
